Rugged coast of red and green

A sea for eyes to rest on, do away with spleen

A pasty so tasty you’d think it’s homemade

Cold and rainy only in the shade

Narrow roads, many boats

On the shore, looking out for anything that floats

Cream tea for two makes you feel snug

As with all things in the southwest, it’s a “cornish“ rug

The Eden Project, Pendennis Castle

You can find it here too, the Scottish thistle

And how it pricks, that blackberry bush

When on muddy roads you fall on your tush

Fresh air and sheep grazing on England’s rolling hills

Far away from Blake’s “satanic mills“

A poppy to show that we remember them

Our fallen soldiers, British brethren
